College classes are back in session. The giddiness of the first day is nothing compared to the tradition of HBCU football, halftime shows and homecoming season.
No matter the beloved HBCU attended, there is a shared love across the board for the fall football season and the feelings of camaraderie, school spirit and fun that tailgating and cheering on your favorite HBCU team brings.
Classic tournaments are a staple for HBCU football, some larger than others, all serving the same purpose, showing pride for HBCU institutions of higher learning. Institutions that for hundreds of years have defied odds and continue to develop, educate and mold outstanding students.
