5 Vintage Entertaining Tips with Lowcountry Inspiration

Fall entertaining season will be here before you know. The temperature is dropping and we are excited about all the fun. To get you started we haveA5 Vintage Entertaining Tips with Lowcountry Inspiration. With the help of Jasmine Williams, Founder of Gather Vintage Rental Company, we are giving you all the inspiration you need for vintage entertaining. Check out a few of her tips for your next gathering and get inspired by her lowcountryAstyled shoot.

1)Don’t be afraid to mix vintage pieces with your favorite modern-day party pieces to achieve the unique party of your dreams.A

2)Don’t forget the tablescape! For a dining experience that pleases the tastebuds and the eyes, incorporate vintage glassware, dinnerware and flatware into your dining experience.A

3)If you’re planning a wedding, consider having a sweetheart table for you and your beau, instead of a head table for your entire wedding party. A sweetheart table styled with vintage Bride & Groom chairsAcreates great photo ops and gives you and your new husband some alone time in the whirlwind that is a wedding day.A

4)A lounge area made up of vintage furniture is a great way to set the mood at any event. Not only is the lounge area great for photo ops, but vintage furniture and decor pieces work as a conversation starter for you and your guests.A

5)For a nod to the past, consider having a vintage cocktail. Here is a recipe for one of my favorite vintage cocktails, it’s from the 1920s and it’s called the Bee’s Knees:

– 2 OZ Gin

A A A A A A A – 3/4 OZ fresh lemon juiceA
A A A A A A A – 3/4 OZ honey simple syrup 1:1

Add all ingredients to your shaker except for the garnish. Shake with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with the lemon slice.A A A A A A A
