From an early appreciation of art, Lauren has developed a successful career utilizing her God-given gift to share her passion with many. As a young bride, Lauren took on several DIY projects and blogged tutorials along the way. After building a following, she began receiving requests to have items created for other brides. She soon decided to open her first online shop. Although this started as a hobby in the beginning years, she reached a point when she realized her potential and Ten23 Designs was born.
Once she connected with her brand identity, she knew she wanted to produce unique elements for her custom event décor clients. Allowing her creativity to lead her, Lauren has set a standard in custom event décor.
Lauren’s work has been recognized in print publications such as Munaluchi Bride, The Celebration Society formally known as Occasions, Oh Brides Magazine and other industry magazines as well as online publications including Hostess with the Mostest, Essence, People, Style Me Pretty, Disney blog and countless others.
Lauren believes it is important that her products stand out as a representation of her brand just as she believes that her clients’ events should be a unique representation of their brand. Lauren does not identify herself as a product maker or manufacturer. She is an artist that produces custom pieces that create emotions and memories.
Thank you so much Michiel! I am so honored to be a part of Black Southern Belle and look forward to our collaborations.
As a fairly new business owner and crafter, meeting Lauren was such an amazing experience! She’s a celebrity in her own right and a modest one at that. The joy that she implores upon professionals, brides, vendors and people alone leaves you feeling as if you both are one in the same- but God TRULY broke the mold with this one! Thank you Lauren for being so amazing, so humble, so genuine & so willing to share her love with the world!
