How did you meet? At a New year’s Eve party my cousin invited me to in Georgia 6 years ago.
How long have you date? We dated 4 years ago. But long distance was in the way. We decided to date again and dated for a year and half.
How did he propose? It was on Christmas morning with his family, after everyone opened all of their presents. He said there’s one last gift and handed me a small box with ‘will you marry me on it?’on it.
When did you know he was the one?I knew when we told each other’I love you’. I knew we were meant to be with one another.
What is the cutest thing he has done for you without you asking? Showing up for the weekend after I had been asking to visit. We were long distance for most of the dating. So we were always on the phone. Then he knocks on the door, of course I’m wondering who is this coming over late, and it was him!
What is something you love about him that has completely changed your life? I’ve always felt uneasy showing affection, especially publicly. I have absolutely no problem giving a hug, kiss, or saying I love you. I feel completely at ease with him.
What part of wedding planning is making you crazy? All of the details!!! I’m so indecisive.
What part of wedding planning can you not live without? My bridesmaids/consultants! They have really helped me make decisions and stay on task.
What was your first thought the day after your engagement? OMG we’re engaged!
