Two Luxury Icons, One Vision: How Kallista and Robern Are Redefining High-End Interiors

Two Luxury Icons, One Vision: How Kallista and Robern Are Redefining High-End Interiors

In a major development for the luxury kitchen and bath industry, premier fixture manufacturer Kallista has officially integrated sister brand Robern into its brand portfolio. The strategic move unites two long-standing legacies of American design under a single, cohesive luxury lifestyle brand.

A Union of Complementary Legacies

Founded in San Francisco in 1979, Kallista emerged from the belief that kitchen and bath spaces deserve the same artistic consideration as any primary room in the home, producing finely crafted faucets and fixtures defined by rich materiality and precise proportions.

On the East Coast, Robern was established outside Philadelphia in 1968, transforming the standard bathroom medicine cabinet into an elegantly engineered centerpiece before expanding into luxury mirrors, lighting, and vanity storage solutions.

By bringing together Kallista’s expertise in water delivery and Robern’s leadership in storage and illumination, the unified brand delivers an expanded, fully connected portfolio for high-end residential spaces.

Streamlining the Trade Experience

Beyond structural integration, the move promises substantial practical benefits for interior designers, architects, and specifiers. Industry professionals will now have access to a single brand partner, specification platform, and digital portal at Kallista.com to coordinate materials, finishes, and technical resources across multiple categories.

“Bringing Robern into the Kallista brand allows us to extend our design perspective across the kitchen, bath, and adjacent living spaces,” said Alexander Dornbracht, Vice President and General Manager of Kallista. “It creates an opportunity to develop an even more connected portfolio, bringing thoughtful design to more of the spaces where people live.”

Dornbracht emphasized the efficiency gains for the trade: “Designers can now access a broader portfolio through one website, one specification platform, and one brand partner. By bringing complementary product categories together under Kallista, we are making it easier to discover products, coordinate materials and finishes, access technical resources, and specify across multiple categories with greater confidence and efficiency.”

Service Continuity and Digital Transition

For current clients and specifiers, all existing Robern product lines, warranties, customer support, and service commitments will remain intact. The brand’s digital footprint, product discovery tools, and resource libraries are transitioning directly to Kallista.com.

The Debut of the Kallista Design Gallery

To celebrate the merger, Kallista is launching its premier flagship location—the 3,500-square-foot Kallista Design Gallery—opening October 12 in Kohler, Wisconsin. The gallery will feature new fixture lines such as the Guise and Vice collections, alongside curated partner elements including handcrafted tile from Ann Sacks and luxury appliances from Monogram.

This integration marks a thoughtful evolution in luxury design—offering a seamless, unified solution for crafting elevated residential interiors.
