There is something special about a southern wedding and one of those signature items is a uniquely styled lounge. We love having a good time and keeping it casual yet stylish in the South and our weddings are no different. Below are a few of my favorite wedding lounges.
Black Southern Belle was inspired by my wedding planning experience and I absolutely adore my wedding venue, The Historic Rice Mill. It oozes southern and everything Charleston including exposed brick, waterfront views, and so much history, it is so great my dad was convinced without even hearing the price, he literally was sleeping during the overview meeting. I think he had too many shrimp and grits that day.
With that inspiration and as wedding planning is in full swing, we wanted to provide some lounge inspiration from The Historic Rice Mill, which offers indoor and outdoor lounge space and i had every excuse to utilize furniture rentals  which are every southern brides dream. Get some inspiration from a few of our favorite vignettes below.
