Memories of Mom’s Beauty Tips:
I learned how to get all “gussied up” as my mother would say. I witnessed the ritual of taking an “everything shower” before it had a name – using high end soaps and scrubs to come out soft and smooth then lathering on a thick body creme with a sumptuous scent. From there she would meticulously apply her makeup, lots of mascara – a full lip combo and the best concealer money could buy. She has always put me on to the best in beauty whether it be a fragrance or even an aesthetic treatment. She taught me to always look my best no matter what … all the way down to always having on clean and pretty panties.
Current Beauty Tips:
I take deep care in how I look daily – from an intentional skincare routine and monthly maintenance appointments to finding joy in picking out my daily lip combo. I love looking and feeling beautiful. I work from home and am on Zoom quite often so I always aim to look great on camera. I wake up early to ensure I have time to put myself together before getting my son out the door. It’s self care and I look forward to the daily transformation from tired sleepy eyes to pretty and polished. I also have gotten more serious about working out and ensuring that physical wellness is incorporated into my routine.
