Pretty Strange: Kentucky Designer Blends Murals, Monograms and More

Looking to add something special to your next event or to your home? Why not try a custom graphics piece. Whether small or large, a custom graphics product can add a signature and heirloom piece to your home. Today we are featuring beautiful examples of custom pieces from Kentucky Designer, Ciara LeRoy who blends a beautiful styled she has termed “Pretty Strange” If you are looking for a unique piece that with a little Southern Gothic style, her work is made for you.

Ciara lives in Lexington, Kentucky, where she juggles an office job, and her work as an independent artist. Her previous gigs, including a stint in home decor publishing and at a fine art museum, have given her a deep appreciation for injecting beautiful things into the everyday or mundane. As a faith-led artist, she is passionate about connecting art with the community and using creativity to build bridges and explore deeper questions.

She owns   Pretty Strange Design, a Kentucky-based firm that provides services including custom design, illustration, and calligraphy. They also create custom murals and monograms (can’t have enough monograms in life!)
This is a gorgeous piece for a lady’s lounge or the office of an entrepreneur. Would look wonderful framed in antique gold.

Don’t we all have this thought running through our minds most of the day. Framed in a beautiful bold red or purple, this piece would be the perfect accent to a library room or kid’s room.
Now this is everything! Such a fun way to style a monogram in both a classic yet modern way. This is perfect for a coffee table at home or for a charcuterie board at a wedding or event.
Create a custom graphic for your family. This is a beautifully styled family print that can be passed from generation to generation with bold classic style.
We love this photo of Ciara and definitely want to know where she got his emerald green chair from!

According to Ciara’s website: Every once in a while, you stumble across something so offbeat, it’s beautiful. I was once told “pretty” and “strange” was the best way to describe me, and it’s also the best summation of the things I create. Whimsical, odd, and a little perplexing, but also detailed, refined and elegant.
