With Christmas just a few days away we can expect decor items to be slightly different than our everyday decor. We can expect seasonal decorations from the living room to the kids bedroom in order to keep everyone in the Christmas spirit. Whether it’s small features such as holiday stockings or a variety of Christmas trees throughout the house, holiday decor is much different than most and gives a home a distinct joyful feeling for the holiday season. So, here’s a list of how I style my home during the holidays and items that you should think of adding to bring some cheer to the end of the year. 

Adding holiday decor to your kids room is definitely one place to start. Knowing that kids love Christmas, and the gifts that come along with this holiday, it is ideal to place specific items in their room. Most of us continue to keep up the holiday cheer and Christmas decor because of our children and here are 5 decor items they will absolutely love. 

  1. Miniature Nutcrackers

Nutcrackers are oftentimes seen outside one’s home to guard and protect their home, however, in this scenario, I have guards and protectors in our children’s bedroom. These three nutcrackers are placed perfectly in the bedroom as great decor and toys for the kids.

  1. Noel, Noel, Noel

Wall decor can uplift any room. These bright and color noel stockings take this reading and play nook to a new holiday height. This is also a great way to add surprise gifts as well for Christmas day.

3. Indigo Is The Way To Go

Indigo is a color that we can style with plenty of other decor items and is also another great subtle holiday statement color. Splashes of indigo throughout any room, especially the bedroom, can enlighten the mood. 

  1. Door Wreaths 

Not only are wreaths popular exterior decor items. These symbols of togetherness can be placed inside the home as well. Curricular shape wreaths are a great way to add a touch of color and will welcome you into each room.
