Fall Entertaining Inspiration: Halloween Drink Recipes

As the kids are having fun this Halloween; watching scary movies and attending safe trunk-a-treats, so should we Black Southern Belles. After an eventful year of uncontrollable circumstances, we should take some time for ourselves and enjoy the festivities of Halloween in our own adult way. With Halloween falling on a Saturday this year there isn’t a reason why a Southern Belle and her Southern Beau can not enjoy this year’s October 31st holiday. A way in which we can have just as fun as the kids this year is with the help of Spindrift and their unique Halloween drink recipes.

Flying Broomstick

With a few common ingredients and your favorite choice of bourbon or whiskey, make this your Halloween party signature drink. Follow the recipe below to try the Flying Broomstick in the comfort of your own home! 

  • 1.5 oz. bourbon or whiskey of your choice
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1/4 of a lemon
  • 4 oz. of Spindrift Half and Half
  • Cinnamon stick and lemon slice to garnish
  • Pour in a coupe glass

The Black Widow

The Black Widow sounds much scarier than it tastes. With fresh lime juice, Spindrift Blackberry, and some edible sprinkles, this dark color sweet martini is sure to keep you in the Halloween spirit and be one of your favorites. 

  • 2 oz. Vodka
  • 1 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 0.5 oz. agave nectar or sweetener of choice
  • Spindrift Blackberry
  • Add 2-4 drops of natural black food coloring
  • Optional: dash of  edible sparkles (can buy in baking aisle)
  • Serve in martini glass with sugar or sparkle rim

Sparkling Cauldron Sangria

  • Red wine
  • Fruit (oranges, apples)
  • Brandy
  • Orange liqueur 
  • Cranberry Raspberry Spindrift

Werewolf’s Blood is one creation that everyone should add to their Halloween Party drink list. This margarita is sure to be a hit and conversation starter with all attendees. 

  • 2 oz. tequila
  • 1 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 0.5 oz. agave nectar
  • 4-5 blackberries
  • 4 basil Leaves
  • 2 serrano slices

  • Garnish with 3 blackberries and a couple serrano slices
