One of my favorite things about living in the Lowcountry is the beautiful architecture. Today I am doing a tour of one of my favorite parts of Lowcountry home style, the front porch. I love my front porch during the holiday season and I am excited to share my Farmhouse Christmas Style. Be sure to share images of your holiday style on social media using the hashtag #blacksouthernbelle
Lowcountry Porch Tour: Farmhouse Christmas StyleHad a great time adding some farmhouse style with some of my favorite farmhouse ornaments. I picked up these farmhouse figurines at Target. I chose to use an off white Christmas tree to decorate my front porch rotunda focusing on the colors red, black and white. You can’t go wrong with a little buffalo plaid on your holiday tree.
I love everything about my stained glass windows and like to use a subtle wreath to not overpower them. My home has quite a few front doors and windows so it I always add a few wreaths instead of one. Don’t be afraid to mix and match with different sizes or styles.
Michiel is a Black Southern Belle living a lowcountry life. I love all things fashion, home decor and southern! When I am not running around doing fun stuff for Black Southern Belle, I live in antique stores and have a minor obsession with historic homes 🙂
