1) For the holiday season, a bold red lip and lashes are key! Ruby Woo by Mac is my go-to shade.
2) Keep accessories simple…adding a statement pair of earring, a ring and a statement clutch is perfect.
3) Adding a sporty leather jacket to an occasion dress gives a sporty chic look and totally unexpected.

Tip: I love decorating with extra wide black velvet ribbon.  I use it classic and unexpected ways.  The holidays are also a great time to display your favorite color.  I’m having a scarlet red moment, so I’m using that color throughout my home.

Tip #1:  If you have a wall, small space, or niche not in use…create a “moment” with elements that will be eye-catching and functional. A chair with a small side table and lamp, is a great place to take a moment to read, relax, have a bit of silence, or a stylish way to stack gifts. Adding a wreath on the wall above continues the mood of the season. *(As featured in Christmas By Design; co-authored by Patricia Hart McMillan and Katherine Kaye McMillian; R. Tip# 2: Don’t have a fireplace? No worries! A console table can easily be decorated to be a lovely stand in. A Christmas wonderland is a festive way to celebrate the season. The console can also double as a station for desserts, drinks, and guest gifts. *(As featured in Christmas By Design; co-authored by Patricia Hart McMillan and
