What is your favorite thing about being a mom?
My favorite thing about being a mom is being able to just watch them grow and take on their very different personalities along with being able to create our very own traditions and memories to always look back and enjoy.
What do you love about raising your children in the South?
A�A�Majority of our family lives in the South so being able to enjoy them every day along with the great hospitality gives us plenty of reasons to love it here. A�A�A�
What are some of their favorite southern dishes to eat? Which do they only eat if you make?
Southern Fried Chicken and Homemade Macaroni and cheese, Collard Greens & Banana Pudding would have to be our favorites. Although ita��s not a typical Southern Dish they love my Cajun Seafood Pasta. A�
Why did you choose this location to do the family photo shoot?
Botanical Gardens are one of our favorite places to explore, this one being tucked away and close to our church was perfect.
What are your favorite lessons to teach your children?
We teach them to be themselves unapologetically & to be thankful for how blessed they are.
What is your favorite southern activity to do with them?
Making Homemade Ice cream with Gma and Papa and Sitting on the Porch watching them play the same way we did as kids.
Do you have any favorite restaurants you like to take them?
We live for a great Japanese Steakhouse (Arigatoa��s is our favorite) and Bravoa��s Italian Cuisine
What are some of your favorite books you read to them?
The Pout a�� Pout fish, Goodnight Moon, & Brown Bear, Brown Bear

Their stylish Yaya (Grandmother) has a tradition of buying their Easter Sunday Outfits which were perfect for our shoot.
What southern values do you hope they inherit as they grow up?
We hope they inherit to keep God & Family first at all times and to work hard to achieve their goals no matter how many obstacles they face.
What advice did you get from your mother on parenting?
My mom taught me to never compare your kids to others as each child will grow and develop at their own pace in their own time & never forget to take care of a�?Mommya�? , Mentally, Physically & Spiritually.
