1) Pick the Location: Make sure you pick a place that has plenty of light, security and is regularly sprayed for bugs. We love outdoors in the South but definitely not bugs.

 

2) Select a Photographer: Make sure to select a photographer who focuses on a natural style of photography and has experience taking pictures in the elements because you never know what may pop up in the woods.

 

 

3)Select a Color Theme: A color theme is a great way to create a look for your shoot and to determine your style as a couple. Incorporate these colors into your makeup, outfits, and decor.

4)Bring Along Some Treats: An outdoors shoot can take quite some time and you will likely not be near a restaurant for a while, be sure to bring a long some sweet treats to keep you going throughout the day. You could also order some sample cakes from your wedding baker and use it as an opportunity

 

 

 

5)Incorporate Nature: Whether through your design or fashion style, be sure to incorporate nature into your engagement shoots. Everything in the forest is an opportunity for decor.
