4th of July will be here in a few days. Between cooking out and getting fireworks ready, there are so many ways to celebrate the holiday. No matter what, we encourage you to make it sweet. To help you get some inspiration, we have 4th of July Southern Dessert Must Haves. With help from Caress Hudson, Pastry Chef for Henny Penny’s Patisserie in Pensacola, Florida.   Caress shared her favorite southern-inspired desserts that are perfect to recreate for 4th of July.  She is a trained pastry chef doing what she loves and elevating the experience of southern desserts for all of her Gulf Coast patrons to enjoy. Southern Peach Cobbler picture with a yummy butter crust: This is a classic southern dish and perfect for the 4th of July especially with a large scoop of fresh vanilla or butter pecan ice cream.
Dipped Patriotic Oreos: Who doesn’t love Oreos? Why not add Oreos to your 4th of July party menu with a simple coating of color chocolate to showcase your patriotic spirit and love of sweets!

 

A fabulous Mint & BlackBerry vanilla cake: This case is so beautiful. It is a beautiful addition to any dessert table for 4th of July. Paired with fresh summer fruit, this is dish your guests won’t be able to get enough of.
