Tips for a Southern Inspired Maternity Shoot
Be comfortable and stylish: Look for clothes that will complement your figure while also being comfortable. If you plan on wearing heels, be sure to also bring a pair of flats or sandals to wear in between location changes.
Theme or No Theme: You can choose to have a theme or not, but try to keep something classic and true to your personality that you will adore for many years to come.
Something Meaningful: Try to find something meaningful to add to your picture, whether it means taking pictures at your alma mater or family church. These pictures are a great item to pass down to your children and the more meaning the better.
Be A Little Bold: Tradition is always important in the South but don’t be afraid to be bold with color for your maternity shoot. This is especially beautiful for an outdoor photo.
Include Your Partner: While men may act nonchalant, Dads, especially southern Dads are just as excited as you to plan for the new bundle of joy. Ask them for a few ideas of what they think they would like to do for the maternity shoot.
