Antique meets modern is exactly what comes to mind when we entered Charleston Revisions. This eclectic yet southern furniture decor store gave us everything we needed. For those of you who are still trying to figure out how to style vintage and modern pieces together.  Here are some tips for venturing out of your design comfort zone. Play around with candle holders. 

Candle Holders are always a great place to start, whether you are scared of vintage or scared of modern, adding a new design splash with a candle holder is a an easy way to dip your toe into this new decor pool.

Lamps are your friend!

A little lighting never hurt anyone. Adding new lamps or even a lampshade can give your home that extra pop that you have bee looking for. They are also a great place to add some vintage or antique flair to your home.

A little brass never hurt anyone

No southern home is complete without a little brass. To keep it truly southern add a brass pineapple or acorn to any bookshelf or home office and you will had a little southern charm to any room.

Add some fun art

Here at #Black Southern Belle we live for Southern Art. There is something special about a Magnolia Tree or Oak Tree in a painting. Art is not just on paintings but also on plates, posters and even napkins. Give your home a little fun with a cool vintage or antique are piece.
