Living Life Fearlessly at 30: Cocktail Party Inspiration, Sponsored by Olay

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Olay. The opinions and text are all mine.

This year has been such a wild and crazy ride. Turning 30 is a big deal in anyone’s life. It is a year that creates a lot of anxiety and hesitation of the unknown. But for me, turning 30 is all about living fearlessly. While turning 30, I had a new baby, my husband took a new job in Atlanta and I have embraced growing my business through new areas and although there are so many changes, I want to embrace it all fearlessly and what better way to do that than through a cocktail. I decided to celebrate my 30th year with a cocktail party inspired by fearlessly embracing my goals for the year. I created a cocktail party with three distinct areas dedicated to every aspect of my life that I want to live fearlessly.

This exercise was so informational, and I encourage every woman looking to face her fears to do it. What better way to face your fears than with a cocktail anyway? Through this party, I was able to come up with a few big goals I want to embrace and want to encourage you to do the same. No matter what is going on in your life, you can live life fearlessly, to you get you started, I have shared my goals for living life fearlessly at 30. I have also partnered with Olay to celebrate my 30th Birthday with 30 of my followers with a gift box. If you want to receive this gift box from Olay, please go to my Facebook or Instagram page to enter by sharing a goal you want to achieve this year or how you will embrace your goals fearlessly. We will only allow one entry per person.

Fearless Wife

Have unique date nights: No matter how busy I am, I want to fearlessly spend quality time with my husband. I am a firm believer happy parents make a happy baby and know date nights will help to ensure we are doing just that.

–Figure out our new life living between Atlanta and Charleston: My husband’s new job will have us splitting time between Charleston and Atlanta. It will be a huge adjustment and there will be plenty of bumps along the way but ultimately it will help our family grow and I want to take on this challenge fearlessly.

Fearless Mom

–Embrace spending time with my son without any work guilt: This something I know will be hard for me. I love working but I also love being a mom and balancing the two will be easy for me but I especially want to make time to enjoy my son without thinking of work which is hard. My brain is wired to think about work which thankfully my husband understands and embraces but I want to find time to dedicate just to Jackson without thinking of work and to do this fearlessly and without guilt.

–Travel the South: I want to find ways to teach my baby a love of travel, especially in the South and to embrace the fun and messiness of traveling with my baby. We have already taken him to Hilton Head and I want to continue teaching him about different areas at all ages.

–Accept Help Without Fear: As a new mom, you can be afraid of so many things and one of them is accepting help. I have always embraced being independent and doing things on my own (and my own way) but with a baby I know I want to do things differently. I want my husband, my mom, friends, and family to be involved with helping raise Jackson into a healthy and well-rounded human being and accepting their help without fear is paramount to achieving that goal.

Entrepreneur

–Grow New Areas of my Business: At the age of 30, I want to fearlessly take my business to the next level, more travel content, producing videos, and launch new brands. I took time to enjoy my pregnancy and now I want to focus on my business because I want my son growing up with a mom who follows her dreams as I would want him to do when he becomes an adult.

–Delegate More to Focus on What I Love: I have a habit of being afraid to delegate tasks and this is something I want to fearlessly let go. I want to embrace delegating tasks that can be done by others to help my business grown and focus on the projects I love and spending more time with my husband and son.

–Use My Business to Support Women: I want to use my business and the opportunities it grants me to empower more women to follow their dreams. Whether by buying their products or services or highlighting them at my events or in my content, I want to embrace and support women entrepreneurs as much as I can.

As I fully embrace and celebrate all that 30 has to offer, I want to encourage you all to do the same. Life is constantly throwing obstacles and showing opportunities and I want to embrace them fully, with the goals in mind that I created during my cocktail party. If you are so inclined create your own cocktail party to celebrate yourself and your goals, whether you are turning 30 or 60, embracing life fearlessly is something I hope you all are able to embrace. And remember that I want to gift you an Olay box to get started. To enter, go to my Facebook or Instagram Page to enter by sharing a goal you want to achieve this year or how you will embrace your goals fearlessly.
