Every Black Southern Belle Bride loves getting dolled up and taking pictures. But even as much as we love it, our bridal portraits are a special breed of pictures. If you are a recently engaged bride planning her bridal portraits, we are here to help. We haveA3 Tips to Prepare for Bridal Portraits with help from Charlotte, NC based, Whimsical Photography.A
These tips are sure to help you on your big day and will give you classic memories to last a lifetime!
A3 Tips to Prepare for Bridal Portraits
1.ASchedule bridal portraits for a separate day from your wedding. Usually, wedding days are simply too packed to fit in bridal portraits. Scheduling them on a separate day gives you and your photographer a chance to relax, enjoy your time, and capture your beauty ahead of the wedding day (or after, if you prefer to do it that way!)
2.ASchedule your hair and makeup trials the same day as your bridal portraits!ASince you are probably going to get a trial run done anyways (always a good idea), schedule it the same day as your bridal portraits! Perfect way to kill two birds with one stone AND make sure your look is on point!
3.AMake sure your dress will be ready BEFORE your bridal portraits, and schedule a cleaning for after.AOften, you and your photographer will be traipsing through fields, maybe in a beautiful garden, or maybe just on some chic streets. Exposing your dress to any outdoor elements will result in some dirt, leaves, etc. getting on the dress. Plan on having the dress cleaned after the shoot, so that itas all prepped and beautiful in time for the wedding!
