Spring is here and it is the perfect time for design inspiration. This year, Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles has outdone itself again with the Southeastern Designer Showhouse & Gardens. With Honorary Chair Jackye Lanham at the helm, the freshly renovated home featured more than 20 designers from Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, Mississippi and Virginia.
“This year’s showhouse casts a fresh, modern perspective on ‘Old Atlanta,’” says Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles publisher Gina Christman. “The historical aspect of the house, enhanced by inspired architecture and interior design, is further distinguished by our collaboration with the Atlanta History Center. ”
Originally designed by renowned classical architect James Means, the circa-1961 residence is currently undergoing a remarkable transformation at the hands of architect Yong Pak of Pak Heydt, builder Michael Ladisic of Ladisic Fine Homes, landscape architect Richard Anderson and kitchen designer Matthew Quinn of Design Galleria Kitchen and Bath Studio.

7. This is the kitchen of our dreams. From the modern gold hardware to the gourmet stove, this is a look to definitely add to your Pinterest board.
8. To add some warmth to this room, the wood barstools and hardwood floors are some of our favorites. We love this look and definitely want to add the beautiful arched window to our kitchen at headquarters 🙂
9. Wallpaper is perfect for any southern room but especially a bathroom. This bold print is not your mother’s floral wallpaper by any means and we absolutely love how it is used.
10. Don’t be afraid to use a dark wall. Nothing is more fun and interesting than a black or navy wall, paired with white furniture, it’s a unique twist on traditional southern style.
