5 Tips for Valentine’s Day Inspired Home Decor

5 Tips for Valentine’s Day Inspired Home Decor

Valentine’s Day is here and with so many florals, lace, pinks, and reds around us, it’s easy to get inspired. Thanks to  Lisa Rickert from Ave Home,we have 5 tips for Valentine’s Day- inspired home decor. Whether it’s romantic white decor or bold pink furniture, these looks will make you fall in love with more than your Valentine.

Tip 1: You can never go wrong with fresh flowers. Roses are a Valentine’s Day classic, but I also love tulips and lilies. Use flowers in shades of red, pink, and white to bring color to your space.

Tip 2: Light candles. Set the mood by turning off overhead lights and breaking out your favorite candles. Not only will the lighting feel more romantic, but your space will smell great too.

Tip 3: Get comfortable. Put out soft blankets and throw pillows that you and your loved ones can use to enjoy a relaxing night.

Tip 4: Keep it simple. At the end of the day, Valentine’s day is about spending time with the people you love. Don’t go overboard on the decorations. Instead, focus your energy on planning a fun activity or romantic dinner.

Tip 5: Plan a nice meal for you and your loved ones, even if it is a light snack for lounge time. This will give you another opportunity to add in a few more decorative touches to the table or place settings. Maybe even a love note used as a place card.
